Tell us about the works that we’re featuring?

This is a mix of some of my favorite editorial work and portraits from my personal project boysbyrox, which I started last year.

What are you working on right now?

I am working on a producing a book and exhibition for boysbyrox which will launch at the end of this year.

Do you parents like your work?

Yes they do, they seem to have more interest in my portraits than fashion editorials.

How does social medial affect you and your art work?

It definitely affects how I research and find inspiration. To have such easy access to what’s going on around the world gives me a better understanding of current trends, new artist and even technology. This contributes to the exposure of my work. I feel social media has given my work a larger international audience.

What can’t you leave home without?

My iphone. Whether I am on the subway, at a social function or just at the grocery store I am always using this as a way to record people, locations, a print that has captured my eye, the way light is falling at a certain time of day, interesting outfits people are wearing. It becomes my everyday database of inspiration.
